BACK FROM PENANG

gosh. past few days have been hectic. back from singapore on friday. on to penang the next day. got a glimpse of how my future jet-setting lifestyle will be =p i so wish. hehe

found out on friday night that one of my friend's cancelled on the trip so there were 2 spaces in the car. and who were the 2 other people who were going to penang? none other than the 2 lovebirds navin and sun who were heading to the pearl of the orient for their one year anniversary. invited them to tag along and they did. didnt wish you guys so hear goes:

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!

Satisfied? =p

well, the trip there was more enjoyable with them there. not a dull moment in the car. bitching and crapping about everything. enjoying the LOVELY biscuits that the LOVELY sun made. without those cookies, we would have starved to death. haha. see how much i like it? =p

as soon as we reached penang, that was when the food eating, i mean food gobbling fiesta started. sun wanted to have dinner at one of the busiest places in penang. Gurney Drive -_-"
so just because she was the only girl in the car, we all gave in. see how gentlemanly ( i think that's how its spelt, too lazy to google it ) we are? =p
dinner for that night, at least what i can remember was, or chian ( eggs and oysters ), laksa, fried kuey tiao, rojak, 2 bowls of wan tan mee, and 8 pieces of pancakes. not forgetting the ikan bakar that we have. mind you there were only 4 of us. and i'm not gonna hide this but most of the eating was done by SUN =p wakakakaka. if i remember correctly she said she had 7 bowls of laksa on sunday =p hehe

next day came the event that made me take the 4 blardy hour trip to penang for. the penang mtb jamboree! i can sum it up in 2 words. pleasurably torturous. how can something so painful be pleasurable at the same time? does associating pain with pleasure make me a sadist? if it does then i'm a SADIST. haha. goodness me, i paid rm50, to wake up at 6 on a lovely sunday morning, head out to the biggest hills in penang, and climb up and down all 4 of them. the organisation of this year's event was ok to say the least. they did not have enough water and food for the SLOWER ones like me. i'm not embarasssed to admit it. only made it out at 3.30. we started at 8 =p i'm just so glad i finished it after so many thoughts of just giving up. hehe. now i can say I SURVIVED! =)

well, enough ranting for tonight. i dont know why but i kinda enjoy this blogging crap. hehe. classes are starting soon, that means we'll be meeting again.

till then
cheers
josh =)
