Greeetings from SINGAPORE!

i was so inspired by the looooooooooooong post by jx that i just had to write something. haha.

for those of you who do not know, i am currently in singapore. enjoying myself thoroughly as well. hehe.

singapore is soooooooooooo different from msia. i experienced culture shock as soon as we crossed over the causeway ( which i found out was only about 100m long ). imagine this, 100 meters of sea separating us but the difference is worlds apart.

the major differences that i noticed immediately as i crossed over the causeway was:

no1) they are CLEAN! no wet smelly toilets. no dead leaves on the highways. it was as though the leaves could only drop when the government said so. haha.

no2) pedestrians rule the road. as soon as u step foot onto the road, cars will start to slow down and stop for you. do that in MSIAand you'll be run over into a pulp. haha.

no3) may be a little racist, buuut, the malays here, not like malays at all. if you get what i mean. some of them, correction, many of them speak with a slang. as though they were born in some other western country. they look different, dress different, and act differently. which, in my humble opinion, was a refreshin change from the ones we have =p ( hope i dont get dragged into some lawsuit for being racist )

no4) not a friggin msian car in sight. cars that are in abundance here are mazda's. mitsubishi lancer's, impreza's, heck, i even saw a db9 ( the car that bond drives at the moment ) man the people here are rich.

cant be bothered to think of anymore differences already. haha.

i've been thinking about what to get for you guys. so hard. with the exchange rate and all. everything is twice the price. haha. but on the way back from a mall today, it struck me. what does singapore have that we in msia dont?

well, u guys will find out when i am back. that's if i manage to get it before i leave. leaving for msia tomorrow already so hopefully i will be able to find it =)

well, results are out. and i dont think any of us failed right? everyone did badly but most of us were worried about failing. well, we all survived to fight another day. damn dramatic hor. bring it on calculus. we'll do better the next sem. i hope. haha.

as for you jx, i'm more than willing to join you for a round in subaru =p but i am afraid u'll be barred from entering cause you sooooooooooo look like a std 5 kid. haha. CHEER UP DUDE!!

till we meet again during go karting session(which i hope will be sometime next week),
cheers
josh
